Xcel Energy Cold Climate Heat Pump Rebate
Xcel Energy Colorado offers rebates for qualifying cold-climate heat pumps. The rebate varies with qualifying equipment and is capped at the installation cost. Confirm the amount for your project before purchasing equipment.
Who may qualify
- Residential customers with Xcel Energy electric service and/or natural gas service in Colorado may qualify.
- Account and equipment requirements are confirmed by Xcel Energy. Additional income-qualified support may be available.
- Installation must be completed and invoiced by December 31, 2026. Applications are accepted through September 30, 2027.
How it Works
- Check your Xcel account and equipment eligibility with Xcel before choosing equipment.
- Work with an Xcel Trade Partner Network contractor to select qualifying equipment and help with the application.
- Complete installation and receive the invoice by December 31, 2026, then submit the application by September 30, 2027.
